My Desk Area...

I prefer to call it "organic creativity"... I'm usually at school for 8 hours a day, from 7:30am till 4pm.,
so I choose to make my work space inspiring, colourful and vibrant. I can usually find anything I need within minutes. On and/or in my desk I have:
  • Fairy wings
  • A candy necklace
  • Food colouring in assorted colours
  • Glitter in assorted colours
  • Disney Princess plasters
  • Instant oats
  • String
  • Needle and thread
  • Chopsticks
  • Stickers
  • A thank you letter form Zoe
  • A wooden massage toy
  • A camel pencil bought for me by my sister when she was in Dubai
  • Confiscated toys and gadgets
  • Chocolate
  • Dried sugar beans
  • Classical music CDs
  • Aromatherapy lavender oil
  • Rescue Remedy
  • Throat drops
  • A tennis ball
  • 8 Dice
  • A pack of UNO
  • Spare stationery for students without
  • Nail polish remover
  • Pencils that I bought in LONDON
  • Spare hair elastics and clips
  • Cute teachers note pads and cards for messages and thank yous

    1. Hi Miss Tyler-Smith,
My name is Miss B. and I am a Gr.5 teacher at International School Bangkok in Thailand. I am very pleased to have connected to your blog. It looks very interesting...much like your desk! My desk isn't quite as lovely as yours, but it still works! I was wondering if you could tell me about the dried sugar beans. What are those? If they're dried, does that mean they've been at your desk for a while? Just curious.
I hope you visit our class blog, too! Comments are most welcome.

    2. Hello Miss B

Dried sugar beans are the kind used in beans in tomato sauce in cans...like HEINZ beans...we used them to grow bean plants this year.
