Our First Skype Call!!

This morning at 8:30am we received a Skype call from a teacher in New Zealand called Mr Webb.
He had questions for the students which his students had given him. Things like do we have windows in our houses, which wild animals roam our streets and what currency we use in South Africa. The students absolutely loved it and we buzzing with excitement afterwards.

We hope to connect in this way with more schools in the future.
Thanks to Connor, who set up all the technical equipment for the call.

  1. Thank you for the opportunity to talk to your class the other day! (night!) We had students from many classrooms and schools visiting our school so to talk to your students was a great opportunity. We are completing our powerpoints about South Africa and our questions and will be posting these online as soon as possible! Thanks so much again!
